She is currently an intern at PillPack by Amazon Pharmacy and hopes to pursue residency after graduating in May of During her time at UConn, she focused on a balance between extracurricular activities, volunteerism and academic achievement. Through the Urban Service Track she was afforded opportunities to serve urban, underserved populations by promoting vaccinations, dental hygiene and other healthy decisions to community members young and old in the areas surrounding UConn.
Additionally, she is an Urban Health Scholar; through interdisciplinary teamwork with other healthcare professionals, she develops and implements health-outreach projects to overcome health disparities of under-served communities.
Ryan is an EMT. While at MCPHS University, Sarah has demonstrated exemplary leadership skills by serving as president and vice president of several student professional pharmacy organizations. As an Urban Health Scholar, Paige Concodd afforded the opportunity to speak to girps and representatives at the capitol to advocate for healthcare needs in underserved communities.
He is now actively pursuing a career within the pharmaceutical industry and would like to become a university professor later in his professional career.
His work within the school primarily focused on philanthropy such as organizing fundraisers to support the Movember Foundation and a leadership fund that financially supports students interested in attending conferences and continuing education seminars. She is looking forward to beginning her first advanced practice pharmacy rotation this August at Concord Hospital in Concord, NH. Alyssa Bangrazi: Alyssa Hampshirf from the University of New Hampshire in with a bachelor of science in chemistry. Over the past year she has served as a peer enrichment tutor for first year students and, in this role, has thoroughly enjoyed helping others navigate through life in pharmacy school.
As an Urban Health Scholar, Wilf was afforded the opportunity to speak to senators and representatives at the capitol to advocate for healthcare needs in underserved communities. Once she graduates, she hopes to pursue a residency in the New England area and one day practice emergency medicine in an institutional setting. As a group they worked on increasing awareness of and educating on prescription drug abuse to the local community.
